An unlocked wireless device will work with a SIM card from any wireless provider.

To find out if your device is unlocked:
  1. Turn off your device.
  2. Locate your device’s SIM card slot.
  3. Get a different SIM card (e.g., a friend or family member’s).
  4. Insert it into your device.
  5. Turn your device’s power back on.

If it works normally and you can make a call, it means your device is unlocked. If it says « Sim card not valid », « restricted » or « contact service provider » then your device is NOT unlocked.

NOTE: Fido = Rogers = Chat-R; Telus = Koodo; Bell = Virgin. e.g. If your iPhone works with Bell and Virgin Mobile SIM cards, it does not mean that it’s unlocked.

Quotes are valid for thirty (30) days. If your device arrives after this period, we would be pleased to accept it, however we will contact you and we might need to slightly revise your offer in accordance with changes in the market price.

Depending on where you are located, it takes 1-5 business days for your device to reach our offices. We use the “Expedited Parcel” service from Canada Post which is traceable and insured.

How to : Turn off the anti-theft feature on your device

You can turn off the anti-theft feature by turning off BlackBerry Protect directly on your device.. You must enter your BlackBerry ID to confirm that you want to turn off BlackBerry Protect.
  1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
  2. Tap   Settings > BlackBerry Protect.
  3. Turn off the BlackBerry Protect switch.
  4. Enter your BlackBerry ID.

How to : Remotely turn off the anti-theft feature using your computer

You can turn off the anti-theft feature by removing your device from your BlackBerry Protect account.
  1. On a computer, go to http://protect.blackberry.com.
  2. Sign in with your BlackBerry ID.
  3. Click Manage Devices.
  4. Click the device that you want to remove.
  5. Click Remove Device.
The shipment of your device is completely FREE. We use the Expedited Canada Post service which comes with a tracking number and an insurance against loss/damage.
You have two (2) options:
  1. The Free Prepaid Shipping Kit is a custom-made box for your devices directly sent to your home. Pack your devices in the box and mail it for free at any Canada Post mailbox or postal office.
  2. The second option is to print a Free Prepaid Shipping Label that we provide via email, and paste that label to your own shipping box. Make sure that the devices are well protected, and mail it at any Canada Post mailbox or postal office.
How to remove iCloud on the device:

To deactivate iCloud on an Apple device: go to (1) “Settings” (2) “iCloud” (3) “Sign Out” (4) type your password when asked.

How to remotely remove iCloud with my computer:

Using a desktop or laptop computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in to your account with your Apple ID and password. Use the same Apple ID and password linked to the phone you’re selling.
  • Click “Find my iPhone”
  • Select “All devices” on the top bar
  • Select the device you’re selling
  • Select “Erase iPhone” and don’t enter a phone # or a message.
  • When it is erased, select “Remove from account”

Yes. We accept broken and defective devices. There is three (3) different levels: Minor problem, Broken Glass, Major problem.
Shipping Label: It can take up to one (1) business day to reach your email inbox and sometimes ends up in your “spam” or “junk” folder, so be sure to verify them.

Shipping Kit: It can take up to four (4) business days to reach your place.

Currently, every phone that we buy is distributed via our qualified partners who specialize in reselling and collecting phones. If you wish to become one of these partners, please fill up the “Become a buyer” form.
It takes an average of ten (10) business days for a return.
The first thing our teams do when receiving a device is ensure that all personal data is destroyed. We use sophisticated data destruction mechanisms provided by the requisite brand (Apple, Samsung, LG, etc.). We provide data destruction certificates on-demand at no cost.

SIM cards are destroyed, and memory cards (SD Card) are completely erased and reformatted.
You are paid via the payment method of your choice within 48 business hours following the reception of your device. This allows our team to verify the complete functionality of your device.
If we need to revise your offer we will send you an email immediately. This can happen when the model received by one of our teams differs from what was initially listed, OR when the physical condition of the phone does not match the listed description. A revised offer can be both higher or lower than the initial offer. You have up to seven (7) days to accept or refuse your revised offer. If you refuse the offer, we will send back your device at your expense. PS: If one or many devices receive a offer that is $0, the phone(s) will be automatically recycled and no return will be possible.
